This is an official declaration:
ReplyDeleteSwitzerland has not parted the European Coalition, unlike previously reported.
The European Coalition is still jointly committed to common targets in both global adaptation and mitigation efforts, and still very active in round table discussions and agreements.
Interest in the Chinese initiative expressed by the Swiss representative was neutral [coherent with general political Swiss policies], and was aimed at clarification and elaboration of the suggested programme, both of which the Chinese representatives were not able to provide.
The European front is very much united and committed to join efforts, as portrayed throughout the negotiation rounds so far.
The Swiss Delegation
